Glengoyne Distillery is regularly referred to as the “most beautiful distillery in Scotland” hence it’s 40,000 visitors per annum. The distillery has been in continuous operation producing Highland single malt whisky since 1833 & is most notable for the slowest distillation processes of all Scottish single malt distilleries.
Unlike many malt whisky’s, Glengoyne does not use peat smoke to dry their barley but instead favors the use of warm air, allowing the true flavor of the spirit to come through in every glass.
