Tasting Notes
In the stillness of this quiet glen, patience is rewarded. For every minute other whiskies spend in their stills, Glengoyne spends three. Only then is it transferred to casks themselves prepared for six years. This is the Glengoyne Way.

Color
Golden yellow, clear and bright

Aroma
Notes of sherry-soaked raisins, figs and oranges. This is followed by classic notes of toasted almonds.

Palate
Vanilla and dark chocolate on the palate. Sherry comes through in the form of well spiced fruit cake. Hints of orange and oak.

The contrast of sweet and sour in the rhubarb goes well with the complexity of the 25 year old. Add praline ice cream to bring out the sweetness in the whisky – and a hint of toasted oatmeal on the nose.
