Tasting Notes
In the stillness of this quiet glen, patience is rewarded. For every minute other whiskies spend in their stills, Glengoyne spends three. Only then is it transferred to casks themselves prepared for six years. This is the Glengoyne Way.

Color
Tawny golden color

Aroma
The classic example of these European oak sherry cask aromas. Raisins, figs, strawberry jam, syrup. A hint of vanilla, but nothing much. Heather honey. Simple layers, but expressed very well indeed.

Palate
Tons of flavor and a superb chewy texture. Molasses. Figs as well as exceptionally rich dried fruits.

The faintest hints of banana and biscuit from the whisky work well with a slice of warm banana loaf, slathered in salted butter.
