Champagne Château de Bligny Grande Réserve Brut
Situated in the heart of the Côte des Bars (Aube region) and built by the Marquis de Dampierre in the 15th Century, Château de Bligny is the only Château to benefit the from the title of Château in the Champagne Region as a Grower Producer. A unique estate with an unprecedented heritage of history and winemaking. 30 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, among 8 plots, draw the Estate where all the elaboration has to take place.

Tasting Notes
A deep golden robe underlined by a line of fine sparkling bubbles. A substantial, flowery (violet) nose, notes of white fruit, very ripe pear, creamy, slightly woody, mushrooms. A fine, dense structure, white fruit (peach, nectarine), gingerbread. An ample mouth and a wonderful length

Color

Aroma
A subtle nose with flat peach and stone fruit aromas and hints of lemon in the background.

Palate
Fresh and lively on the palate with persistent plum and apricot aromas.

While this wine can be enjoyed by itself as an apéritif, it is also perfect with fried chicken, citrus, and white truffle. It can also be served with aged Gouda or other hard cheeses, and as a counterpoint to soft triple creams.
