The Keaton Red Blend
This is the inaugural vintage of The Keaton Red
wine. The idea is to source red wine from
different parts of California using the best lots of
red varieties we can find to make a robust red with
bright complex fruit characteristics. We may
change the various varieties and appellations we
use each year, to make the best wine possible, but
the style will remain consistent.
The Keaton Red is a blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, and Petite Sirah all sourced from the north coast of California.
Upon pouring in the glass the color is a rich purple-crimson.
The aromas have good intensity and complexity.
Hints of strawberries, raspberry, and plum notes, with an added dash of spice vanilla.
